Clear Lake Symphony has a wonderful relationship with surrounding communities
and provides music upon their request in the public
schools. Former CLASS Treasurer/Education Liaison Blanche Stastny and
Clear Lake Symphony principal
oboist Beth Watson coordinate the schools and musicians. Schools
visited include: Bay Area Montessori, Bay Way Elementary, Cline Elementary,
K. E. Little Elementary, McWhirter
Elementary, Stewart Elementary and Whitcombe Elementary.
The
symphony is dedicated to the musical education of our children and brings
classical music to the public schools, at no cost to the students or
taxpayers, through classroom demonstrations and discussions. The Symphony
annually donates numerous tickets to students to provide them with the
opportunity to enjoy a free symphony concert. For additional information,
